WINNIPEG BLUES’ CUDMORE NAMED RECYCLE EVERYWHERE MJHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Four goals in three games last week earned Levi Cudmore of the Winnipeg Blues Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week honours.

Cudmore, 20, scored the overtime winner in a thrilling 3-2 win over Steinbach Pistons in Game 2 of their best-of-seven series. The native of Park River N.D. has been on a goal-scoring tear in the post-season, with seven goals in eight games. Five of his goals have come via the power play.

The runners up are 19 year old goaltender Riley McVeigh of the Virden Oil Capitals and 17 year old goaltender Matthew Thiessen of the Steinbach Pistons.
