Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Blues announced on Wednesday that 2002-born defenceman Pearce Gare has committed to the organization.
The Winnipeg, MB native played 34 regular season games with the Winnipeg Bruins Midget AAA of the Manitoba Midget Hockey League during the 2018-2019 campaign. In those 34 games, the 16-year-old scored one goal and 10 points. Gare added one goal in four playoff games.
Gare also played one game with the Winnipeg Blues last season.
The Blues selected Gare in the sixth round (61st overall) in the 2017 MJHL Draft.
