Winnipeg, MB – Winnipeg Blues fans will be able to listen to every Blues game at CJOB.com during the 2019-2020 season.
On Wednesday, a five year broadcast agreement was announced giving 680 CJOB the exclusive broadcast rights to the Winnipeg Blues. As mentioned above, all Blues games will be streamed live at CJOB.com.
Bill Burfoot will return as the voice of the Blues for the fourth consecutive season. Before joining the Blues, Burfoot spent time as the play-by-play announcer with the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, as well as the Sports Director at MBC radio in La Ronge.
The first broadcast will be on Friday, September 20 when the Blues visit the Portage Terriers at Stride Place. The Blues home opener is scheduled for Sunday, September 22 at the RINK Training Centre. Puck drop will take place at 5:30 p.m.
