Former Winnipeg Blue and now Curry College freshman defender Mack Heisinger has been named as ECAC Northeast Rookie of the Week.
Heisinger netted a goal and helped on another for two points as the Colonels went 2-0 over the weekend against Cortland State. He earned an assist on Saturday before opening the scoring in Curry’s 4-3 win on Sunday.
It’s been quite a month for the 21 year old from Winnipeg who was also named to the ECAC Northeast Weekly Honor Roll at the beginning of December, and now has two goals and seven assists in 12 games with the Colonels.
