Blues and Steelers Swap Defencemen

The Winnipeg Blues have acquired 20 year old Selkirk Steeler defenceman Ty Edwards in exchange for 18 year old Blues defenceman Mark Wilson.

Wilson suited up in 20 games for the Blues this season, notching a pair of goals while adding three assists.

Edwards has spent his entire junior hockey career in Selkirk, beginning in 2013/14.  This season, the 6’1, 217 pound defenceman has one goal and nine assists in 25 games.

The Blues would like to thank Mark for all his contributions to the organization and wish him all the best in the future.
