Joel MacGillivray (Mutch and Keane assisting) opened the scoring early in the game however the Natives stormed back when the boys found themselves in a bit of penalty trouble. Matt Leblanc (MacGillivray and Keane) evened things up on a Blues power play midway through the first.

Then it was the Dexter Kuczek and Dallas Tulik show as the two players both scored hat tricks enroute to the win. Adam Derochie got the start stopping 23 of the 28 shots he faced. The Blues fired 49 shots at the Neepawa net keeping a pair of Natives goalies very busy.
