In front a solid crowd the Blues skated to 4 to 2 victory over the scrappy Waywayseecappo Wolverines, who have the nicest looking bus in the league!
The Blues got off to a good start in the first with Stefanson scoring on the power play, assists from Nault and Lewis. Nault followed that up later with help from Hillis and Kleysen.
The second saw the Wolverines claw their way back in scoring a pair in the period. Jackish scored to keep the Blues ahead, assists from Curtis and Pruden.
Riley Hillis potted the insurance marker into an empty net late in the period, assists from Kleysen and Parsons.
Parsons stopped 16 of the 18 he faced along with an assist.
