Blues Hit a Sour Note Against Virden

Virden came into the game down three points in the standings with 3 games in hand making it a very important game to both teams, basically a four point night. Unfortunately the Blues came out flat and found them selves in a deep hole down by 4 by the midpoint of the second.   Riley Hillis scored on a power play, assists fro Pruden and Bartlett, to put some spring in the boys step but that was all the scoring they could muster.   The boys next home game is against the very same Virden Oil Capitals where it will be another very important two points on the line.   Our Boston Pizza Shooters are pictured here with Blues players Brock Shwaluk and Kevin Jackish.  The young fella with the Jet torque scored to win a free pizza.
