Blues Take the Spark Out of the Pistons 5 to 3

Saturday nights all right for knocking off the top team in the league and picking up a valuable two points! Well folks thats exactly what happened as the Blues downed the Pistons 5 to 3.

While he didn’t find his way onto the scoresheet Kelton Sutherland played a huge part in the win leading the way with his physical play. Every time Sutherland was on the ice one or more of the Pistons players was on the wrong end of a solid check.

Blues goal scorers were Dallas Tulik and Joel Macgillivray with a pair each along with Rhett Lough. Assists went to King, Cassie, Wowryk (2), Lough, Tulik, Forseth, Prouty and Czaplewski.

Joel MacGillivray scored a pair of real beauties, one burying a nice feed from Tulik in the second and then a tremendous effort on a short handed goal in the third.

Blues goalie Adam Derochie picked up this second win in as many nights stopping 24 of 27.
