A clutch victory for the Blues 3 to 2 over the visiting Virden Oil Capitals to tie the series at 2 games apiece. The Blues built a 3 goal lead going into the third with goals from Nault (Stefanson and Lewis), Hillis (Esteves and LeBlanc) and Pruden (Nault and Mutch). Virden then battled back with a pair in the third but could get no more enabling the Blues to come away victorious.
