James Patrick

 

James Patrick is the Head Coach of the Winnipeg ICE and will serve as a consultant to the Winnipeg Blues.

Before joining the ICE, Patrick spent the previous 11 seasons as an assistant coach in the NHL (Buffalo from 2006-2013 and Dallas from 2013-2017).

James also played 21 seasons in the NHL with four teams (New York Rangers, Hartford, Calgary, and Buffalo). He played in 1,280 regular season games recording 149 goals, 490 assists, and 639 points.

Among his accomplishments as a player, James suited up for Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships (2), World Championships (5), Canada Cup, and at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia.
