NEWS: WINNIPEG BLUES ACQUIRE JAKE DALE FROM PEMBROKE LUMBER KINGS

The Winnipeg Blues have acquired forward Jake Dale from the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the CCHL in exchange for future considerations.

The 20-year-old has one assist in 11 games so far this year. Previously he played for the SJHL’s Notre Dame Hounds, amassing 24 points in 56 games through three seasons.

General Manager Taras McEwen knows Dale from his time working with the Hounds and is excited about what he can bring to Winnipeg.

“He’s a hard working player that skates really well and can play anywhere in the lineup,” said McEwen.

The Calgary local stands at 5’ 11” and weights 192 pounds.

Dale makes his Blues debut tonight with on the fourth line. Dale and the Blues face off with the OCN Blizzard tonight at the RINK Training Centre, starting at 7:30 p.m.
