NEWS: WINNIPEG BLUES REACH INITIAL DONATION GOAL FOR RIDE INSIDE

The Winnipeg Blues have surpassed their goal of $20,000 in support of CancerCare Manitoba Foundation through their participation in the 2021 RIDE INSIDE.

The Blues players rode their way to the 20K mark for a second straight year. The donations will help to “give children, adolescents and young adults who are out of conventional treatment options another chance to beat their cancer,” as listed on the Blues donation page.

The money the players rode for will help save the lives of young Manitobans, and the team’s staff expressed immense gratitude to those who made a donation.

The Winnipeg Blues have set a new donation goal of $25,000 by the end of this weekend. To help with that, the Blues will be auctioning off Winnipeg ICE paraphernalia at their game against the Steinbach Pistons on Friday, November 19. Items available for auction include hats, tickets to Winnipeg ICE games, and a signed Carson Lambos jersey.

The gates open at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow. For more information or to make a donation, click here.
