Post Game Report | Blues attempt third period comeback but fall 4-3 to Steelers

Winnipeg, MB – The Selkirk Steelers collected its first victory of the season after defeating the Winnipeg Blues 4-3 on Saturday night.

The Blues trailed 4-1 heading into the final frame but scored two goals in the first eight-minutes of the period to make it close. Steelers goaltender Riley Morgan would shut the door from there providing his team with the two points.

The Blues received goals from Braden Fischer, Jack Oleksiuk and Mikol Sartor. Oleksiuk and Sartor led the way for the Blues in the game, each recording two points. Goaltender Dante Giannuzzi was busy between the pipes for the Blues, stopping ???

The Steelers got two goals from Carter Barley while Caiden Gault and Patrick Comeau added the others.
