Winnipeg, MB – Winnipeg Blues goaltender Cooper Hatfield was solid between the pipes making 36 saves as his team topped the OCN Blizzard 3-1 on Friday night.
Josiah Vanderhooft, Rhys Raeside and Matt Hill scored the goals for the Blues. Captain Brayden Foreman collected two assists.
The Blizzard got its lone goal from James Maxwell while goaltender Danick Rodrigue stopped 30-of-33 shots in the loss.
