Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Blues dropped a 4-2 decision to the Swan Valley Stampeders at Seven Oak Sportsplex in Winnipeg on Tuesday night.
The game was part of the MJHL Showcase, where 11 games took place between Sunday evening and Tuesday evening.
The Blues received goals from Josiah Vanderhooft and Rhys Raeside while goaltender Dante Giannuzzi stopped 45-of-49 shots.
The Stampeders got goals from Frazer Dodd, Nathan Carl, Tommy Cardinal and Josh Maucieri. Cardinal led the way with three points (1G, 2A). Goaltender Mikael Foucher blocked 16-of-18 shots.

The Winnipeg Blues are back in action on Friday, October 4 when they visit the OCN Blizzard. The Blues will follow that up with another date against the Blizzard on Saturday and the Swan Valley Stampeders on Sunday.
