Post Game Report | Terriers down Blues 4-2 to spoil home opener

Winnipeg, MB – The Portage Terriers scored three unanswered goals en route to a 4-2 victory over the Winnipeg Blues at the RINK Training Centre on Sunday.

Duncan Jowett got the Blues on the board in the first five minutes of the game, but Ocean Wiesblatt scored to even the contest less than one minute later. Colby Wolter would make it 2-1 for the Terriers at the 18:14 mark of the first period.

Mack Belinski scored one goal in the second and another in the third to make it 4-1 before Pearce Gare would get his first goal of the season to cut the lead to 4-2 late in the game.
