Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Blues (1-5-0-0) finish the MJHL Showcase with a date against the Swan Valley Stampeders (4-1-0-0) on Tuesday.
Puck drop is scheduled for 5:00 P.M. CT at Seven Oaks Sportsplex in Winnipeg.
This will be the first meeting of the season between the Blues and the Stampeders. Both teams will meet again on the weekend.
The Blues are coming off of a 6-3 loss to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines on Monday afternoon. The Blues trailed 4-0 in the game before rattling off three unanswered goals to get within one with under three minutes remaining in regulation time. The Wolverines added two empty net goals in the final minute.
The Stampeders enter Tuesday’s game on a three-game winning streak, previously defeating Virden, Waywayseecappo and Dauphin.
