Pre Game Report | Winnipeg Blues begin 3-in-3 against OCN

Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Blues (1-6-0-0) begin a three games in three days stretch on the road against the OCN Blizzard (1-3-0-0) on Friday.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. CT at Gordon Lathlin Memorial Centre.

This is the first meeting of the season between the Blues and the Blizzard. Both teams will meet again on Saturday.. The Blizzard won’t visit Winnipeg until early December.

The Blues are coming off of a 4-2 loss to the Swan Valley Stampeders on Tuesday. The Blues received goals from Josiah Vanderhooft and Rhys Raeside while goaltender Dante Giannuzzi stopped 45-of-49 shots.

The Blizzard are coming off of a 4-2 loss to the Virden Oil Capitals on Tuesday.

Following this weekend’s games, the Blues visit the Winkler Flyers on Tuesday, October 8.
