Pre Game Report | Winnipeg Blues host Dauphin Kings for first time this season

Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Blues (3-7-1-0) host the Dauphin Kings (1-5-0-1) for the first time this season on Sunday afternoon.

Puck drop is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. CT at the RINK Training Centre.

The Blues haven’t played on home ice since September 27.

The Blues are coming off of a 4-2 victory over the Winkler Flyers on October 8. The Blues received two goals from Rhys Raeside and singles from Brayden Foreman and Braden Fischer. Goaltender Dante Giannuzzi blocked 52-of-54 shots for his first MJHL win.

The Blues and Kings will face each other next on October 26 in Dauphin. The next time the Kings make a trip to Winnipeg will be November 17.

The Kings enter this afternoon’s contest on a five-game losing streak. The only victory of the season for the Dauphin Kings came against the Swan Valley Stampeders in what was a 6-4 final score. The Kings are coming off of a 6-5 loss to Neepawa on October 8.
