With the season behind us the Blues spring rookie camp is in full swing this weekend. The crop of upcoming talent was hard at work in front of the watchful eyes of the Blues coaching staff. Blues veteran Geordie Keane found himself behind the bench as did Team Chaplain Henry Dueck. The camp brought players (160) from all over the province and from AAA, AA and High School all looking to make an impression and get an invite to next falls training camp.
Coaching staff said things went well and were impressed with the attitude of the kids. Now the staff will be hard at work looking at the potential draft picks for the upcoming MJHL draft (2001) along with identifying potential prospects for next years team.
Don’t forget to keep watching as our Graduating Player Profiles will be starting to be posted in the next few weeks. Stay tuned, stay informed, stay a Blues fan!!!
