Joshua Gratton – Head Coach and General Manager

Born September 9, 1982, in Brantford, Ontario, had a diverse playing career that included time in the OHL, NHL, AHL, and leagues across Europe and Asia. Undrafted, he signed with the Philadelphia Flyers in 2004, playing 86 NHL games and winning two Calder Cups in the AHL. After retiring, Gratton transitioned into coaching, most recently leading the Potomac Patriots (USPHL) where he emphasized discipline, work ethic, and player development. In July 2024, he was named head coach and GM of the Winnipeg Blues (MJHL), with a focus on team development and community engagement.
Kent Macinnis – Assistant Coach
Kent brings a strong foundation of leadership and on-ice experience to the Winnipeg Blues as Assistant Coach. A native of Winnipeg, he played three seasons in the Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League (MMJHL), most notably with the Fort Garry/Fort Rouge Twins, where he served as team captain. Known for his responsible two-way play and work ethic, MacInnis contributed consistently at both ends of the ice throughout his junior career. His transition to coaching reflects his passion for development and his deep roots in the local hockey community.
Dustin Boyd – Assistant Coach
Dustin Boyd returns to the Winnipeg Blues coaching staff for the 2025–26 season, bringing back his elite playing experience and strong leadership presence. A Winnipeg native, Boyd was drafted 98th overall by the Calgary Flames in 2004 and played over 230 NHL games with the Flames, Nashville Predators, and Montreal Canadiens. He also enjoyed a highly successful career overseas, including multiple standout seasons and championships in the KHL with Barys Astana.
After a strong first year behind the bench, Boyd continues to play a key role in player development and team culture as he helps guide the next generation of Blues talent.
