Blues Corral Visiting Stampeders

The Blues returned to the win column on Saturday night versus the Swan Valley Stampeders following a 5 to 1 victory.   Riley Hilles got things going with a pair in the first, help from Nault and Lewis, then Kroeker on his second. Kamerin Nault potted one in the second on the power play assists from Lewis and Kleysen to bring the lead to 3 to 0.   Blues Captain Taeron Lewis scored on the power play into the third, assists from Nault and Forseth. The Stamps finally broke the shutout at the twelve minute mark with Josh Tripp finding the back of the net. The Blues weren’t finished yet, James McIsaac popped one home with help from Pruden and Jakisch.   Both Kameron Nault and Taeron Lewis finished the night with 3 points while the power play went 3 for 5. Scott Parsons had a fine night stopping 25 of the 26 shots he faced and came very close to another shutout.   Next up – Steinbach Pistons Sunday night 6:30 – gonna be a good one!!!!
