How the Blues can help raise money for minor hockey teams:

The Winnipeg Blues of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, in proposed partnership with the Minor Hockey Associations in our community are thrilled to offer the following fundraising opportunity.

In order to offset the expensive costs of playing the game of hockey that our kids have a tremendous passion to play, the Winnipeg Blues have created a tool for your minor hockey teams to generate funds for both organizations in a very simple fashion – The Winnipeg Blues Hockey Fundraising Raffle!

How does it work?

The Winnipeg Blues will prepare a book of raffle tickets. The cost would be $2.00 per ticket with 25 tickets per book. The $50.00 of revenue from each book of tickets would be split on a 50/50 basis.

For example, when your minor hockey team sells 60 books (12 players x 5 books each) the team would get $1,500.00 and the Winnipeg Blues would get $1,500.00.

It’s hockey helping hockey!

Winnipeg Blues would also invite all of the participating teams to Bell MTS Iceplex to watch numerous Winnipeg Blues games throughout the year. Participating teams will be eligible to enter weekly draws to join the Winnipeg Blues for a minor hockey practice to include Head Coach Billy Keane and five players from the Winnipeg Blues.

The financial details:

The ticket books are ready for pick up. There is no minimum amount of teams required. Strictly a team-by-team decision. Draw date is Feb. 23, 2019 during our home game against the Swan Valley Stampeders held at the Bell MTS Iceplex. Our lottery licence # is LGCA 2018-RF-29392.
