Blues Heat Up in Overtime.

Another day another overtime victory! If this is any indication of how tight things are going to be through the playoffs you will have to bring a bunch of friend because your going to run out of nails to chew!   The Steelers opened the scoring early in the first taking that lead to almost the halfway mark of the first when Kevin Jakish took a pass from Geordie Keane and firing it behind the Selkirk tender. Three minutes later Mitch Hansen scored (Pruden and McIsaac) to take a lead into the second.   In the second the Steelers clawed their way back and took the lead 3 to 2 into the third where the Blues Gianlucca Esteves sniped a beauty on the power play assists going to Pruden and Bartlett. The tie carried on through numerous power plays and penalty kills in the third.   Overtime proved as exciting as the previous night and again as the clocked ticked down the Blues found the back of the net, this time it was former Steeler Tyler Edwards jumping up on the play and taking a pass from Riley Hillis and ripping it short side on Steelers goalie Hayden Dola.
