CADEN ZAPLITNY STAYING WITH SILVERTIPS IN WHL

Caden Zaplitny has graduated from the MJHL and become a full-time member of the WHL’s Everett Silvertips.

The 17-year-old forward scored six goals and got eight assists in his 25 games with Winnipeg this season. Three of his goals were game winners.

The East St. Paul local became a consistent, reliable top-six forward in his rookie year, and Blues coach Taras McEwen has no doubt that will continue in the WHL

“Zap was someone who came in and really bought in to our program, worked hard on and off the ice. It was fun to see him grow and it’s nice to see our program graduate another quality player,” said McEwen.

The Winnipeg Blues thank Caden for his contributions to the Blues and wish him the best during his time with the Silvertips.
