Condolences Go Out for Kent Coleman

Condolences go out to the Coleman family on the passing of Kent Coleman who was heavily involved with the Winnipeg Blues until 2005.

I have known Kent for many years through our mutual involvement in the game of hockey and would have to say he truly was one of the good guys.  He loved the game of hockey and cared about the kids he scouted and recruited.  He wasn’t afraid to tell it like it was which in the world of sports is a very refreshing trait.

His hard work paid off with two championship rings, one with the Winnipeg South Blues and a Memorial Cup.

Kent – you will be missed, you were a true friend of the Blues and of the game.
