Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Manager

The Winnipeg Blues are looking for a new Equipment Manager for the 2025-26 MJHL Season.

Position Overview:

Do you have a passion for hockey and the drive to keep our team looking and feeling their best on and off the ice? We’re searching for a detail-oriented Equipment Manager to join our squad and ensure our players have everything they need to perform at their peak.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain gear after practice using washing machines and other equipment

  • Hang up equipment, jerseys, and ensure all jersey namebars are stitched on time

  • Order and maintain inventory of team equipment, including sticks, skates, and other gear

  • Sharpen skates, tape sticks, and organize sticks for practices and games

  • Manage bench organization during games and practices, ensuring everything is in its place

  • Pack and unpack the bus for away games, ensuring equipment is ready for travel

  • Maintain accurate away game inventory and prepare for afternoon games and practices

  • Be available for all 56-game schedule and practices, ensuring consistent support throughout the season

  • Build strong relationships with players and communicate effectively to help support a championship culture

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in managing hockey equipment and maintaining high standards of organization

  • Ability to work efficiently and independently, with attention to detail

  • Strong time-management skills to handle a busy season of 56 games and daily practices

  • Excellent communication skills to build strong, positive relationships with players and staff
