Winnipeg Blues announce leadership group for 2019-2020 season

Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Blues announced on Thursday the leadership group for the 2019-2020 season.

2001-born forward Brayden Foreman will wear the ā€˜Cā€™ for the Blues while 2001-born forward Mikol Sartor, 2000-born defenceman Nick Trudel and 2001-born defenceman Joe Kraus will be the assistant captains.

Foreman, from Winnipeg, played 54 regular season games for the Blues last season, recording seven goals and 34 points. This will be his second season in the MJHL.

Sartor, also from Winnipeg, enters his second season in the MJHL. He registered 18 points in 50 regular season games for the Blues last season.

Trudel enters his first MJHL season. The Selkirk native played 28 regular season games with the New Jersey Rockets of the USPHL Premier during the 2018-2019 campaign.

Kraus suited up in 42 regular season games with the Winnipeg Blues last season. The Winnipeg native enters his second MJHL season.
