Post Game Report | Blues drop 5-2 decision to the Flyers

Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Blues dropped a 5-2 decision to the Winkler Flyers at the RINK Training Centre on Friday night.

The Flyers held a 4-0 lead after two periods thanks to goals from Mateo Albinati, Sulivan Shortreed, Drake Burgin and Brody Moffat. The Flyers outshot the Blues 26-7 through 40-minutes of play.

The Blues would battle back in the final frame, getting goals from Braden Fischer and Carson Tiede to make the game close. Moffat would add an empty netter with one second remaining to make the score 5-2.
