Pre Game Report | Winnipeg Blues welcome Winkler Flyers for the first time this season on Friday night

Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Blues (1-2-0-0) welcome the Winkler Flyers (0-2-0-0) for the first time this season on Friday night.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. CT at the RINK Training Centre.

The Blues are looking for back-to-back victories after dropping its first two games of the 2019-2020 campaign.

The Blues scored three unanswered goals to defeat the Neepawa Natives 5-4 in regulation time on Tuesday. Blues forward Josiah Vanderhooft potted a hat trick while Rhys Raeside recorded three points (1G, 2A).

The Winkler Flyers dropped two games to the Steinbach Pistons to begin its new season. Drake Burgin and Alex Cattani lead the way for the Flyers with two points.
