Pre Game Report | Blues host Steelers in third pre-season meeting between the two teams

Winnipeg, MB – The Winnipeg Blues host the Selkirk Steelers in the third meeting of the 2019 MJHL pre-season on Saturday afternoon.

Puck drop is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CT.

The Blues are still searching for its first victory of the exhibition schedule, dropping its last game 5-2 to the Steelers in Selkirk on Thursday. In that game, the Blues received goals from Matt Hill and Brayden Foreman, while Mikol Sartor and Conner Grunsten recorded assists. Goaltender Cooper Hatfield played the entire game and stopped 32-of-37 shots that came his way.

The Blues conclude its pre-season schedule against the Steelers at Selkirk Recreational Complex on Sunday. The Blues open the 2019-2020 regular season on Friday, September 20 in Portage against the Terriers.
