It's that time of year again. The leaves are turning colour, the sunlight is getting shorter, and the Winnipeg Blues are back on the ice at the MTS Iceplex to begin another season of MJHL hockey.
The defending Turnbull Cup Champions host the Selkirk Steelers in their home opener this coming Saturday, September 20th. Puck drop is set for 7:00 pm.

Four year veteran and captain of last year's Turnbull Cup Champion Winnipeg Blues, Channing Bresciani, has commited to the University of Manitoba for next season.
The 21 year old from Winnipeg is coming off a very solid year personally, putting up 36 points in 58 games.
Bresciani capped off his four years with the Blues with a championship this past season, and says the organization continues to grow every year and sees great things for the future.

Your defending MJHL champion Winnipeg Blues will open their regular season against a familiar foe with a home and home series beginning in Selkirk against the Steelers on September 19th.
Heading into this season, the MJHL has moved to a one-division format with teams playing a balanced schedule - three games at home / three games on the road against each opponent.

Blues Excited About New Draft Picks
The Annual MJHL Bantam Draft took place on Sunday, June 8th in Winkler, and the Winnipeg Blues added some very exciting talent to their organization.
